Tonight we opened up a bottle of Two Vintners Syrah (2007) with our pizza. It's a Washington Syrah, very much a good and tasty example of what a Washington Syrah should taste like (red and fruit-forward at the beginning with a nice spicy taste and finish), and for about $20, is at the perfect intersection of "delicious" and "affordable more often than once a year". *g*
Two Vintners is an offshoot of Covington Cellars, and Covington is one of my favorite Washington wineries, so I'm not at all surprised that it's good stuff! It comes highly recommended. :)
